About the Role

We seek a Hardware Engineer to help design and define our next generation of exciting products and product features, and to bring those products from concept to production. The Hardware Engineer will solve challenging engineering problems by selecting components, designing schematics, layout and bringing up & debugging circuits in the lab. The engineer will define test criteria and execute these test plans on functional prototypes to demonstrate the robustness of designs. The engineer will work with many cross-functional teams including program managers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, QA engineers, as well as numerous third-party vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers. This is a full-time role in our Torrance, CA office.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience designing consumer electronics and/or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of electronics hardware design, including analog and digital circuit design and signal/power integrity.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools. *Altium Designer is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of developing schematic and PCB layout for multi-layer high-speed PCB techniques.
• Familiarity with embedded system design, including microcontrollers, power management, low power design, and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
• Experience with design verification and validation testing, including functional testing and environmental testing.
• Strong sense of drive and ownership to move projects forward
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
