About the role

We are seeking a highly energetic, assertive, and personable Sales Account Manager to join our Sales team.  The Account Manager will be the owner of important accounts for the company.  These accounts can include national retailers in the commercial, mass, premium, and/or specialty categories. 

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious recent graduate to start their career in account management with a top consumer brand.  You will grow existing accounts, develop new sales, and grow the business.  The right candidate has the potential to grow in both responsibility and strategic input rapidly.  This is a full-time position in our Torrance, CA office.  This is NOT a remote position.

In particular, you will:

  • Increase sales, volume and profitability targets for your accounts
  • Cultivate account relationships and provide excellent service and support
  • Develop and execute account-specific promotions and strategies
  • Create robust merchandising plans for product launches and promotions
  • Negotiate business terms
  • Identify new accounts for growth
  • Represent simplehuman in front of customers and Buyers as brand and product expert
  • Contribute to overall strategic planning

About You

  • Smart, outgoing, and articulate with the ability to influence and inspire confidence
  • Excellent oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills
  • A whiz at math! (Especially business math)
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top school in Mathematics, Statistics, Data/Marketing Analytics, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience with national retailers a plus
  • Familiarity with Excel
