Derrick Mak

Derrick Mak is a Mechanical Engineer with experience in leading teams and designing innovative mechanical solutions. At simplehuman, Derrick delivered product prototypes and led quality testing for soap pumps. As a Mechanical Team Lead at Robotics Outreach Project, Derrick managed a sub-team and designed educational robotics kits. During their time at Fluidic Systems, Derrick created engineering drawings and designed a pneumatically actuated quick release mechanism. At UAV Forge, Derrick worked on motor sourcing and designed motor mounts. Derrick has also worked as a Math Tutor at Cerritos College. Derrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cerritos College.
