Sammy Mowrey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They began their career in 2015 as a Social Media Specialist at ProgressNow New Mexico. In 2016, they worked as an Operations Assistant at Bollywood Groove. In 2018, they served as a Server at Osteria Via Stato. The following year, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Nobu Hospitality. In 2019, they joined Bread and Wine as a Floor Manager & Bartender and continued in this role until 2021. Sammy also worked at CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) from 2020 to 2021, where they held multiple roles, including Assistant Site Manager, Scheduler, and Program Associate. They further expanded their experience by working at 20th Century Fox Productions as a Health and Safety Monitor from June to December 2021. In 2021, they also worked as a Covid Coordinator at Pasadena City College. Most recently, Sammy started working at SimplePractice in March 2022 as a Customer Success Associate, specializing in insurance.

Sammy Mowrey attended The University of New Mexico from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in University Studies with a focus on Communication in the 21st Century: Digital, Written and Performed. During their time at the university, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in the same field. In July 2020, Sammy Mowrey also acquired a certification in Initiating and Planning Projects from Coursera.
