John Downing

John has 20+ years of institutional investment management experience, focusing on macro volatility strategies across a wide array of assets classes. Mr. Downing began his career at the Harvard Endowment Company and later joined the founding team at Convexity Capital which grew into a $15+ billion fund. In 2015, he co-founded RDC Capital partners where he was Chief Investment Officer.

He graduated with BA’s in Economic Theory and Political Science from Assumption College.
