Peter Van Amson

Peter's asset and risk management career has included roles in asset management, risk management, and the development of risk management and financial modeling technology solutions for banks, finance companies, insurers and institutional investors. Most recently, Peter was a partner and the head of risk management for Convexity Capital Management LLC, an active asset manager that had a successful 13 year run of using options based strategies to generate value added for its institutional investors. In this role he looked after Market, Counterparty and Liquidity risk for the firm as well as frequently working with investors to help them understand the firm's risk and performance drivers.

Peter holds a BS and MS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Peter is also a PhD Candidate in Accounting from the University of Michigan.
