Justin Harris

Justin Harris has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Justin is currently working as a Cyber Security Trainer at Simplilearn since June 2023. Prior to that, they served in the U.S. Coast Guard for a significant period of time. In the Coast Guard, they held various roles including Cyber Threat Analyst, Living Marine Resource Analyst - MIFC PAC, Requirements Manager, Reports Officer, Assistant Special Security Officer, Geospatial Analyst, Intelligence Instructor, and Operations Specialist. Each role in the Coast Guard involved different responsibilities such as analyzing cyber threats, managing requirements, processing clearances, conducting geospatial analysis, and providing intelligence training. Additionally, Justin worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from October 2019 to July 2021. Justin Harris obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysis from the American Public University System, which they attended from 2008 to 2013. In addition, they have received several certifications including GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from SANS Technology Institute in November 2022, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in April 2022, CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in February 2022, and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in November 2021.
