Sumant Singh

Sumant Singh has extensive experience in human resources, talent management, and talent acquisition.

From 2021 to the present, they worked as the Director of HR at Simplilearn.

From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Assistant Vice President of HR at BYJU'S (Think & Learn Pvt. Ltd.), where they led the HR department for the Central & Eastern India Region and focused on cultivating a high-performance culture and engaged teams.

From 2013 to 2019, Sumant held various roles at Bharti Airtel. As the Head of Talent Management & Development for the Maharashtra & Goa Circle from 2018 to 2019, they were responsible for delivering people solutions and partnering with business heads to build high-performance teams. In addition, they also served as the Head of Talent Management & Development for the Rajasthan Circle from 2017 to 2018 and as the Talent Acquisition Head for the Upper North Circle (Punjab, Haryana, HP & JK) from 2015 to 2016.

Prior to Bharti Airtel, Sumant worked at IBM as a System Analyst from 2008 to 2011. Sumant also had a brief internship at Bharti Airtel as an MBA Summer Intern in 2012, focusing on talent acquisition.

Sumant Singh's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth, which was completed from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, Sumant attended Sainik School in Ghorakhal, Nainital, from 1996 to 2003 and completed the AISSCE degree in Science. Later on, Sumant pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from XLRI Jamshedpur, which was achieved from 2011 to 2013.
