Founded in 2018 by a team of experienced real estate and finance professionals, Simplist works with major national firms and established regional lenders alike to quickly and securely match borrowers with the perfect mortgage. ABOUT THE ROLE:

Simplist is rapidly growing and seeking an Engineering Manager who is well-versed in developing and guiding teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Engineering and working closely with both the engineering and product teams, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a talented group of engineers to grow the future of our technology and our company. KEY DUTIES:

• Design, implement and refine product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• Build and lead successful engineering teams by providing hands-on team management through clear communication, mentorship, and actionable feedback.
• Drive a collaborative culture within engineering, while also holding team members to high engineering standards
• Shape our system architecture with a technical and product vision
• Partner with leaders to create and execute roadmaps serving as a communication bridge allowing the team to build out the vision

ABOUT YOU:

• You have 5+ years of experience managing a team of high-performing engineers
• You are fluent in OOP methodologies
• You have experience with C# and .NET Core
• You have experience with TypeScript / HTML5 / CSS
• You have experience with asynchronous programming methodologies
• You have a deep understanding of various design patterns
• You are familiar with agile programming methodologies
• You are familiar with micro-service architectures
• You have a deep understanding of relational database management systems
