Carolyn Steere

Carolyn Steere has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Carolyn worked at Simplot Australia Pty Ltd as the Head of Communication & Corporate Affairs starting in July 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director of Communications and Media at The Australian Red Cross Blood Service from December 2016 to July 2019. Carolyn also worked as a Corporate Affairs Manager at Asaleo Care from January to December 2016, and as a Communications Manager from January 2015 to January 2016. Before that, they ran their own company, Carolyn Steere Communications, where they worked as a Communications Consultant from January 2012 to January 2015. Carolyn also worked at BHP Billiton as a Communications Strategy Advisor from May 2010 to December 2011, and as a Communications Manager Global Technology from January 2007 to October 2008, and as a Communications Advisor Business Excellence from October 2004 to January 2007. Prior to that, they worked at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company as a Communications Advisor from June 2003 to October 2004, and at Moran Furniture as a Human Resources Officer from November 2001 to June 2003. Finally, Carolyn started their career at The Age as a Communications Assistant from December 1998 to November 2001.

Carolyn Steere completed their Bachelor of Health Sciences at La Trobe University from 1993 to 1996. Carolyn then pursued further education and obtained a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from the University of Melbourne between 1998 and 2001.
