Gil Peled

Gil Peled has a diverse work experience. Gil currently works at Simply (formerly JoyTunes) as a DSP Algorithm Engineer since March 2022. Prior to that, they served in the Israeli Air Force from July 2014 to October 2020. During their time in the Air Force, they held the position of Research And Development Team Lead from November 2017 to October 2020, where they led a 4-person team and mentored and trained officers. Gil was also chosen as a substitute research group leader. Before that, from July 2014 to October 2017, they worked as a Research And Development Officer, conducting research on signal processing algorithms and systems. Gil took the lead in systems field testing, developed simulations, and presented recommendations based on the analysis of results. Prior to their military service, Gil Peled was a Cadet in the Talpiot Program from July 2011 to July 2014.

Gil Peled earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University between 2008 and 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating in 2014. Continuing their education, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Elementary Particle Physics from Tel Aviv University between 2016 and 2022.
