Rick Cortez

Rick Cortez has a long history of working in the information technology industry. Rick began their career in 2004 as a Product Specialist at SCC Soft Computer, where they were responsible for research and documentation of product requirements, development of product technical documentation, development and implementation of product test plans, internal and client training programs, support of alpha and beta product releases, and providing counsel to overseas offices regarding development and validation of product. In 2008, they moved to Bright House Networks as a QA Process Analyst, where they developed and used testing methods and was involved with internal QA of company surveillance agents. Rick then moved to Evolutions Healthcare Systems, Inc. in 2009 as a Database Analyst, where they were responsible for insuring the integrity of business data. In 2010, they became a Data Integrity Analyst at Ultimate Medical Academy, where they were responsible for extracting, formatting, validating, auditing, and importing of various source files. Rick then moved to Mintek Mobile Data Solutions in 2011 as an EIS Administrator, where they supported the Supply Chain Management team for CPE Inventory. In 2014, they joined Hyland Software as a Solutions Engineer, where they provided consulting services and delivered solutions for Hyland's customers. Lastly, in 2017, they joined Simply Organic Beauty as the Information Technology Manager.

Rick Cortez's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Southern New Hampshire University between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an AA in CIS from Valencia College between 2000 and 2002. Rick also attended the TECHNICAL EDUCATION CENTER OF OSCEOLA where they studied Computer Programming in Visual Basic from 1999 to 2000. Finally, they completed their high school diploma in Business from Osceola High School between 1996 and 2000.
