Gayla Turner

Gayla Turner currently serves as a Learning Officer at SimplyBank, focusing on talent development through structured learning and continual adventures since July 2022. Previously, Gayla held the position of Assistant Vice President at FirstBank from April 2019 to July 2022, specializing in instructional design and program management. Prior experience includes serving as Learning and Readiness Lead and AVP Learning Consultant at Atlantic Capital Bank from August 2011 to April 2019, and as AVP Learning Consultant at FSG Bank, a division of Atlantic Capital, from May 2007 to April 2019, where responsibilities involved evaluating learning gaps in collaboration with business partners. Gayla commenced a career in customer relations and as an Assistant Branch Manager at Regions Financial Corporation from August 2004 to May 2007. Gayla has also pursued professional development through ATD Designing Learning in 2015 and studied at Chattanooga State.
