François de Kerret has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In that year they completed a civic service as an educator for Apprentis d'Auteuil, where they organized a sport tournament for 150 teenagers. In 2013 they were an Intern developper for Option where they were in charge of the database migration from Sql to MongoDb for the Leadsius project. In 2014 they were a Research Intern for Columbia University in the City of New York in the X.Y. Zhu group and a Research Assistant Graduate Student for Polytechnique Montréal at the Fluid Structure Interactions chair. François's research project earned him a 1st prize out of 150 students in the department. In 2016 they were an Entrepreneurship Teacher for Commission scolaire de Montréal (CSDM) where they managed to have 21 students completing the first course and 22 for their second course. In 2018 they became a Fundraising Technology Consultant for una buro. François also served as the Cofounder and CEO of Zeffy since 2015.
François de Kerret obtained a Bachelor and Master Degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Innovation at the Ecole Polytechnique from 2011 to 2016, with a focus on fluid mechanics, applied mathematics, entrepreneurships, and innovation. François also obtained a Maîtrise recherche de génie mécanique from Polytechnique Montréal from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Baccalauréat from Lycée Louis-le-Grand from 2007 to 2011, with a focus on sciences physiques.
