Miriam Connaughton

Miriam Connaughton's work experience begins in 1987 when they joined Mobil Oil and held various positions within the company. In 1994, they moved to the London-based consulting firm Kinsley Lord, which was later acquired by Towers Perrin. Continuing their career at Towers Perrin, Miriam became a Principal and eventually took on the role of Managing Director for the West Division when Towers Perrin merged with Watson Wyatt. Miriam later joined Willis Towers Watson as the Region Head for the US West. In 2017, Miriam joined EY as a Principal, leading their People Advisory Services for the TMT sector in the West Region. Lastly, in 2023, they became the Chief People and Experience Officer at Simpplr. Miriam also runs their own consulting company, Connaughton Consulting LLC, where they work with start-ups and high-growth companies, focusing on culture.

Miriam Connaughton holds an MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School. Miriam also completed an executive education program in Global Business Strategies at INSEAD and a program in Finance for Non-Finance Executives at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Miriam obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Geophysics from the University of Birmingham and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology and Physics from Aston University. In addition, they are Scrum Master Certified (SMC) through the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in 2019.
