David Nielsen

David Nielsen has extensive work experience in the renewable energy and offshore services industries. David is currently the Head of Renewables at SSY - Simpson Spence Young. Prior to this, they worked at F3O Offshore Services as the Managing Director, Director Offshore Wind, and Senior Offshore Shipbroker. Before that, they held roles at SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH & Cie. KG as the Installation Manager and Project Manager. David also worked at MT Højgaard in various positions including Site Manager, Onshore Installation Superintendent, Offshore Installation Superintendent, Diving Superintendent, and Engineer Trainee. Additionally, they had experience as a Contractor at KSS and Plus byg Danmark A/S, where they served as a Construction Manager and Renovation Manager respectively.

David Nielsen attended the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) from 2008 to 2011, studying civil engineering. In 2010, they also completed safety training courses at Falck Nutec and Citrus Safety Training, specifically in CCNSG Safety Passport and Entry into Confined Spaces. Additionally, they took a Wind Turbine Safety Course at Falck Nutec in the same year.
