Jarl Magnus Berge

Jarl Magnus Berge has extensive experience in the finance industry, particularly in alternative finance within the shipping and offshore sectors. Jarl Magnus began their career in 2009 at NorthCape AS as a Partner, where they worked closely with asset owners, ship brokers, and financial institutions to arrange alternative finance projects. In 2014, they joined NorthCape Pte Ltd as a Partner, focusing on the same areas of expertise. In 2015, they returned to NorthCape AS as a Partner, this time expanding their work to include asset backed alternative finance in shipping, offshore, cruise, and aviation. Most recently, in 2023, they took on the role of Head of SSY Finance at Simpson Spence Young.

Jarl Magnus Berge obtained their Master's degree in Finance, with a specialization in General Finance, from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) between 2007 and 2009.
