Senior Field Engineer, Composite Strengthening Systems at Simpson Strong-Tie

Jason Oakley, P.E. has extensive experience in structural engineering, currently serving as a Senior Field Engineer for Composite Strengthening Systems at Simpson Strong-Tie since September 2002. In this role, Jason focuses on educating structural engineers about the applications of Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) and Fabric Reinforced Cementitious Matrix (FRCM) for the repair and strengthening of buildings and bridges. Prior roles at Simpson include Supervisor Field Engineer and Senior Field Engineer in Anchor Systems, where responsibilities involved ensuring product specifications and guidance on anchorage solutions. Earlier in the career, Jason worked as an Engineer at Hopper & Associates, engaged in diverse projects across nuclear facilities, refineries, and other sectors, and held a position as a Design Engineer at Nabih Youssef & Associates. Education includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Cal State Fullerton and a degree in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego.
