Marlou Rodriguez

Marlou Rodriguez is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in structural engineering and research and development. Currently serving as the Director Of Engineering for Research and Development and the Concrete Construction Products at Simpson Strong-Tie since October 2014, Marlou has also held roles including Anchor Systems Engineering Manager and R & D Engineer, with a focus on the Strong Rod System. Prior experience includes ownership of MBRodriguez Engineering Inc from August 2004 to February 2016, and positions as a Structural Engineer at ISAT Seismic Bracing and Building Engineer at Tri-Valley Engineering, among others. Marlou began the career as a Junior Engineer at Englekirk Structural Engineers and has foundational experience as a Drafter/Designer at Thomas Reay Architect. Marlou earned a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1998.
