Mariela Fernandez

Mariela Fernandez is an experienced professional in IT asset disposition and compliance, currently serving as the ITAD Coordinator at Sims Lifecycle Services since August 2021. In this role, Mariela ensures the secure and compliant disposal of IT assets while maintaining adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Previously, Mariela held the position of IT Auditor Lead, where leadership and compliance with company guidelines were prioritized. Prior experience includes serving as Safety Coordinator and Quality Assurance at Taylor Farms, as well as co-founding and serving as CFO at Inveplast SA, along with experience as a Project Engineer at C.A. Hidrológica del Lago de Maracacibo. Mariela holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del Zulia, earned between 1987 and 1995.
