What's the best professional advice you ever received?
"The perfect is often the enemy of the good". An army officer surprised me with this concept. It has helped me overcome hesitancy at getting a project started and made me develop the mantra: "Do it now. Do it quickly. Do it badly." It's important to give yourself permission to fail rather than being hobbled by fears you might not get it perfect.
