Luis A. de la Cruz

Luis A. de la Cruz has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry. Luis A. began their career in 2003 as a Research Experience for Undergraduates in Nanotechnology at Northwestern University. In 2005, they held the role of BioPharm Manufacturing Associate at GSK and Assistant Scientist at Johnson & Johnson. In 2006, they became an Associate Scientist and Scientist 1 at Merck. From 2011 to 2020, they held various roles at Danone, including Sr. Manager of Cycles & Procurement, Producer Relationships East, Sr. Manager of Technology, NORAM Technology and Pilot Plant Manager, and Pilot Plant Manager. Since 2020, they have been the Manufacturing Lead and Director of Manufacturing at SIMULATE. In 2022, they became the Head of Manufacturing at ETA Lumis Foods, a plant-based manufacturing company focused on the high-moisture extrusion space.

Luis A. de la Cruz has earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
