Dimas Ortega

Dimas Ortega serves as the System Vice President of Finance. Dimas joined Sinai Health System in October 2016 and has served in many financial roles including Corporate Controller and currently as Vice President of Finance. Dimas is an accomplished finance and accounting professional with twenty plus years of proven healthcare and not-for-profit management experience. Dimas has been recognized for streamlining processes, turning around financial operations, improving cash flow, and providing sound financial analysis.

Prior to joining Sinai Health System, he was a Controller at United Therapies a national urology company, and at Swedish Covenant Hospital as the Corporate Controller where he was responsible for the day-to-day financial accounting operations of a multi-entity, not-for-profit Safety Net community hospital.
