A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Tejal’s professional background includes an early career in clinical pharmacy. She has served in various leadership roles throughout her tenure at Sinai Chicago. She consistently demonstrates her leadership skills, acumen and professional industry knowledge as evidenced by a number of successful initiatives, including the advancement of innovative technology to improve patient safety and quality of care.
She serves as Vice President of Operations at Sinai Chicago where she leads operations for Pharmacy, Respiratory, Neurodiagnostics, Sleep Lab, Dietary/Nutrition, Medication Safety, Laboratory and EVS/Transport Services.
Tejal is highly skilled in bringing together teams from across the system to ensure patient satisfaction, caregiver engagement, efficient operations and quality. She was an integral leader in overseeing the COVID-19 pandemic response for Sinai Chicago and has been instrumental in expanding Sinai’s capacity across the Chicago community, which includes developing and coordinating logistics to patients to receive vaccinations in communities disproportionally impacted by the pandemic. She has also worked to advance and optimize respiratory care services across Sinai Chicago, with the recent opening of the pulmonary function testing clinic at Holy Cross Hospital.
Awards include the 2021 Samuel A. Goldsmith Young Professionals Award for her outstanding work by the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. She has also been awarded the 2021 Partner of the Year through Metropolitan Family Services.
Tejal is a candidate for her Master’s degree in Health Administration at the University of Illinois. She is a mom to loving twin five year-old boys, an endearing wife, and in her spare time, enjoys reading and traveling.
