Zahra Khudeira

Zahra Khudeira, PharmD, MA, BCPS, CPPS, PMP, currently serves as the Medication Safety Officer at Sinai Health System since August 2009, where responsibilities include ensuring the safe use of medications across hospitals and adhering to The Joint Commission's Medication Management standards. Additionally, Zahra holds the position of Anticoagulation Pharmacist at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital since July 2012, providing patient counseling and monitoring INR levels for warfarin dosing. At Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center of Chicago, Zahra has been the Medication Safety Manager since August 2009, overseeing the Medication Use Process and enhancing patient safety through collaboration with healthcare professionals. Prior experience includes roles as Medication Safety Clinical Coordinator and Pharmacy Clinical Manager at Advocate Health Care from March 2005 to August 2009. Educational credentials include a PharmD from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MA in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University, and Green Belt Certification from Juran Global.
