Qaiser Rizwan Abbasi

Qaiser Rizwan Abbasi is an MS Economics Scholar at the Centre for Business and Economic Research, IBA, since June 2024. Concurrently, Qaiser is a Freelance Columnist for multiple platforms including Pakistan Observer and DawnNews, both from July 2023 and December 2021 respectively, as well as for Nearpeer.org and Jahangir World Times Magazine since July 2021 and September 2020, respectively. Furthermore, Qaiser has been serving as a Social Media Manager and Sindh Sales Tax Officer at the Sindh Revenue Board since March 2021. A notable storyteller, Qaiser has contributed as a Story Writer for Young World Dawn since January 2018. Prior experience includes an internship at the Hyderabad Development Authority from July to October 2020. Qaiser holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, completed in 2020, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Economics from the Institute of Business Administration, expected to conclude in December 2025.
