David Edgar is an experienced educator with a strong background in English, History, and Humanities instruction, currently teaching at the Singapore American School where responsibilities include teaching AP Language and coordinating a technical theatre team. Prior to this role, David was part of The Loomis Chaffee School's English and History faculty, receiving the Teacher of the Year award for the 2023/24 school year while also coaching Model United Nations and directing theatre productions. Additional teaching experience includes a position at Metro Nashville Public Schools and various roles focused on mentoring and support for gifted students. David holds a Master of Education from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's degree in International Political Economy from Georgetown University, along with diverse international educational experiences.
