Razvan I. Ghilic-Micu Msia

Razvan I. Ghilic-Micu MSIA, RAIA serves as a Senior Associate at Hassell since 2017, contributing to the firm’s vision of designing exceptional places. Ghilic-Micu also holds the role of Editor In Chief for the Singapore Architect, the official magazine of the Singapore Institute of Architects, and previously served as Features Editor. In addition to editorial responsibilities, Ghilic-Micu is the Festival Director of Archifest 2021 and leads a Design Studio Unit at the National University of Singapore. With a background as Principal and Co-Founder of publicworks, Ghilic-Micu has significant experience in academia, having taught design at both the Singapore University of Technology and Design and Princeton University. Prior professional roles include design positions at MKPL Architects and James Carpenter Design Associates, with a foundational education in Architecture from Princeton University and Ryerson University.

Singapore Institute of Architects

The Singapore Institute of Architects is a professional organization established in 1963 with the objective to promote the architectural profession and the built environment in Singapore. The Institute is the sole representative for architectural profession in Singapore. The Institute’s Mission is “To champion excellence in architecture and the built environment” and our vision is to see “Singapore as an Architecture Capital”. The management of the affairs of the Institute is the responsibility of an elected Council, comprising 21 members, one of whom is appointed by the Board of Architects, Singapore, as an ex-officio member. There are 6 office bearers, who are responsible collectively for the administration and financial matters of the Institute.
