Lim Sun Sun

Sun Sun Lim currently holds the position of Vice President of Partnerships & Engagement at Singapore Management University since December 2022. In addition, Lim has been actively involved with the Singapore Computer Society as a Committee Member for the AI Ethics & Governance Special Interest Group and serves as Vice President of the Women in Tech Chapter. Other roles include Board Director at the Singapore Environment Council, Council Member at the Media Literacy Council and the Social Science Research Council, and a former Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore. Lim’s academic career includes serving as a Professor of Communication & Technology and Head of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences at Singapore University of Technology and Design, along with previous roles at the National University of Singapore. Lim holds a PhD in Media and Communications from The London School of Economics and Political Science and has earned two undergraduate degrees from the National University of Singapore.
