Raymond P. Najjar, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of ophthalmology and biomedical engineering. Raymond currently holds the position of Deputy Research Director at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, where they oversee research activities in the Department of Ophthalmology. Raymond also serves as an Assistant Professor in the same department.

Before their tenure in Singapore, Dr. Najjar held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Inserm and Stanford University, where they conducted significant research on sleep, light impact, and visual responses. Raymond also served as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University.
During their time at Lebanese University - Faculty of Sciences and INSERM, Dr. Najjar gained experience as a Lecturer and PHD Student, respectively, further enhancing their teaching and research capabilities.

Raymond P. Najjar, PhD holds a Postdoctoral Research Fellow degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, where they specialized in Neuroscience, Sleep, Circadian Rhythms, and Vision. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Raymond also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Neuroscience from the same institution. Raymond's education journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Physiology from Lebanese University - Faculty of Sciences.
