Gregory Tan

Director Of Operations at Singapore Police Force

Gregory Tan has a diverse work experience in the field of law enforcement and government administration. Gregory started their career in 2007 with the Singapore Police Force, serving as an Investigations Officer and later as a Staff Officer Manpower Planning. In 2009, they became the Commanding Officer of the Marine Parade Neighbourhood Police Centre. In 2011, they joined the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore as a Senior Assistant Director. In 2013, they returned to the Singapore Police Force as the Head of Technical Research, and later in 2015, they joined the Prime Minister's Office as Deputy Director. Gregory'smost recent role is with the Singapore Police Force as Deputy Director of Operations, before being promoted to Director of Operations in 2022.

Gregory Tan earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 2002 to 2004. Gregory later pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management, specializing in Public Policy, from Carnegie Mellon University from 2005 to 2006.
