Sharanya Pillai

Sharanya Pillai is a seasoned correspondent and journalist with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently employed at The Business Times since December 2018, Sharanya has previously held positions at The Edge Media Group as a staff writer from July 2017 to November 2018 and as a news editorial intern at CNBC International in early 2016. Earlier in Sharanya's career, an internship was completed at the Ministry of Education, Singapore, where teaching support was provided at Anderson Junior College. Sharanya holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies and a degree from the University Scholars Programme from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, complemented by a period of study at Boston University in 2015.
