Tharindu Hettiarachchi

Tharindu Hettiarachchi is a seasoned network professional with extensive experience in network architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Singtel since December 2022, Tharindu previously held various roles at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd from March 2012 to December 2022, including Network Architect, Associate Network Architect, Senior Network Engineer, and Network Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed new data center technologies, cloud adaptation, network security, and firewall implementations. Notable accomplishments include the physical relocation of the primary data center, Cisco ACI migrations, and the introduction of advanced network security measures. Earlier professional experience includes a Network Engineer position at Lanka Communication Services (PVT) Ltd, focusing on monitoring tool development and Wi-Fi billing systems. Tharindu holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Hons) in Computer Engineering from the University of Peradeniya and an MBA from the University of Colombo.
