Kathy Alexander

Vice President - Curriculm at Singdaptive

Kathy Alexander has a diverse work experience in the field of music education and content production. Kathy is currently the Vice President of Curriculum at Singdaptive since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Dansko Studios as a Musical Theatre Instructor and Singing Teacher for the Musical Theatre Program from 2009 to 2019. From 2016, Kathy served as a Practicum Supervisor and Field Advisor at the University of Victoria, Field Experience. Kathy also had experience as a Digital Content Producer at MUSIC Group from 2015 to 2017 and as a Digital Content Manager at TC-Helicon Vocal Technologies from 2011 to 2015. Kathy started their teaching career at Christ Church Cathedral School in 2005 and continued as a Teacher of Musical Theatre, Drama, and English at Colquitz School from 2003 to 2004. Kathy'searlier experience includes being a Music Teacher at Glenlyon Norfolk School from 1998 to 2001.

Kathy Alexander attended Claremont Secondary School from 1990 to 1993, where they successfully completed their High School Diploma with Honours. Afterward, they pursued higher education at the University of Victoria from 1993 to 1998, graduating with a Bachelor of Music degree in Education. Kathy furthered their studies in music by enrolling in the Jazz Studies Diploma Program at Capilano University from 2002 to 2003, specializing in piano and voice.
