Veronika Svecova is a Senior Bank Resolution Expert at the Single Resolution Board, a position held since December 2018. Prior to this, Veronika Svecova worked as a Lawyer and case handler at the European Commission from December 2011 to May 2018, focusing on State aid measures, merger investigations, and rescue instruments during the financial crisis. Previous experience includes a role as a Trainee lawyer at Linklaters in 2011 and as a Blue book trainee at the European Commission's Legal Service. Veronika Svecova also served as a Lawyer in the European and International relations department of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor in European law from Masaryk University Brno and an LL.M. in European and International law from the Institute for European Studies in Brussels, along with a Master's Degree in law from Masaryk University and an Erasmus certificate from Lund University.
