Kang Wee Tan

Kang Wee Tan has a diverse work experience, starting from 2000 to the present. Kang Wee began their career at American International Assurance Co Ltd, where they served as the Deputy Manager, leading a team of Business Analysts and supervising the Document Scanning Center. Kang Wee then joined Aviva Asia Pte Ltd as a Project Manager, leading cross-functional teams in launching new Life insurance products in multiple countries. In 2010, they joined AIA Company Limited as the Head of IO Systems Support, where they headed the Business Analyst team and was awarded Employee of The Year. At AIA, they later became the Head of Policy Services and Deputy Head of Life Operations Business Re-engineering & Management Support, overseeing IT enhancements and representing Life Operations in strategic projects. In 2022, they transitioned to Lazada as the Chief Customer Care Officer and is currently working as the Principal Product Owner at Singlife with Aviva. Throughout their career, Kang Wee Tan has demonstrated a strong focus on operations efficiency improvement and business solutions delivery.

Kang Wee Tan earned a B.Sc in Computer and Information Science from the National University of Singapore, completing the program from 1996 to 1999.
