Professor Rocky Scopelliti

Chief Scientist - Government at Optus

Professor Rocky Scopelliti is an internationally recognized thought leader in demographic and technological change, currently serving as a Futurologist, Best Selling Author, International Keynote Speaker, Advisor, and Board Director since November 2003. As Chief Scientist for Government and Director of the Centre for Industry 4.0 at Optus, Rocky leads initiatives guiding the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With a track record of advising over 150 boards and leadership teams, including Fortune 100 corporations, Rocky's recent publication, "Disruptive Decarbonisation," addresses adaptation to climate change. Additional roles include Adjunct Professor at UTS Business School, Non-Executive Director at Community First Bank, and advisory positions with various organizations including AIIA and Wake by Reach. Rocky's extensive educational background includes an MBA from the University of Sydney and participation in the Graduate Company Director Program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
