Fernando Egido Egaña

Fernando Egido Egaña has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Fernando currently holds the position of Director General / Managing Director at Singular Bank since 2019. In addition, they are a Professor in the Program of Digital Banking and Innovation in the Financial Sector at Instituto de Empresa since 2020. Furthermore, Fernando has been involved in teaching roles at IEB as a Professor in the Program of Innovation and Financial Technology from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Banca Cívica as the Director of Bank 2.0 from 2010 to 2012. At Caja Navarra, they held several positions from 2007 to 2010, including Head of Digital Business and Innovation Manager.

Their early career includes positions at BIKO2 as Chief Technology Officer from 2005 to 2007, where they focused on identifying and developing new business lines and managing technology architectures. Fernando also served as a Business Development Manager at BIKO2 from 2000 to 2005, working on technology consulting, customer management, and project management. Fernando Egido Egaña has a diverse education history. Fernando obtained a Master's Degree in Business Management from Caja Navarra Management Development School in 2009, and a Master's Degree in IT Business Management from Foro Europeo Escuela de Negocios de Navarra in 2007. Fernando also completed a degree in Technical Computer Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. in 1996 and a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Communication from TRACOR in the same year. Additionally, they have technical specialist degrees in Systems Administration from A.E.G. Studies Center (2001) and in Management Computing from A.E.G. Studies Center (1996). Fernando also pursued computer engineering studies at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 1993. Prior to their higher education, they earned a degree in Music from Deba Music Conservatory in 1994.

In terms of certifications, Fernando has obtained a certificate in Strategic Thinking from the Project Management Institute in 2021 and a certification in Financial Information from Afi Escuela de Finanzas in 2017.
