Rui Liu

Rui Liu has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. Starting in 2017, Rui worked as an Assistant Analyst at Tianfeng Securities Co., Ltd. before transitioning to the field of education. In 2017 and 2018, Rui served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Science and Technology of China and later at Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2019, Rui entered the tech industry as a Machine Learning Engineer at AYR, where they eventually moved up to the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer. From there, Rui took on the role of Lead Machine Learning Engineer, overseeing cross-functional teams and working on various projects. Currently, Rui is employed as a Senior Lead Machine Learning Engineer at AYR, leading an international team in building a Model Perfection Platform. Throughout their career, Rui has demonstrated leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to education.

Rui Liu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics at the University of Science and Technology of China from 2014 to 2018. In 2016, they also had a brief academic stint at The University of British Columbia, where they studied Economics. Subsequently, Rui pursued a Master's degree in Statistics at Columbia University between 2018 and 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, starting in 2022 with no specified end year. In addition to their academic achievements, Rui Liu has also obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) - AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in June 2023 and May 2023, respectively.
