Julie Legault

Julie Legault is a Faculty Member at Singularity University Canada since September 2019, specializing in Biotechnology. As the Founder and CEO of Amino Labs since June 2015, Julie aims to democratize genetic engineering to foster the next industrial revolution through personalized manufacturing. Previous roles include Research Assistant at MIT Media Lab, Teaching Fellow at Birmingham City University, and researcher at Aston Martin focusing on smart materials. Julie has also contributed to interactive design with experience at V2_ and LG Electronics. Educational credentials include a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's from the Royal College of Art, alongside studies in Digital Technologies and Fine Arts.
