Sandi Wilkenfeld has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Sandi started their career at the New Jersey Department of Agriculture in 2012, where they worked as a Field Technician for eight months. Sandi then joined PeproTech in 2013 as a Lead Analytical Scientist, where they contributed to the company's analytical research initiatives for three and a half years. In 2017, Sandi began working at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences as a Graduate Research Assistant. Sandi remained in this role for five years, supporting various research projects. In 2022, Sandi joined Sino Biological, Inc. as a Support Scientist, contributing their expertise to the company's scientific endeavors.

Sandi Wilkenfeld began their education in 2007 at The College of New Jersey, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2012. Sandi then attended Kean University from 2014 to 2016 to study Biotechnology. In 2016, they transferred to the University of Houston to pursue studies in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology but did not complete a degree. From 2017 to 2022, Sandi attended the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, where they obtained a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Cancer Biology.
