Jaap van den Heuvel

Jaap van den Heuvel serves as the Interim CFO/COO and Interim Chief Executive Officer at Sint Maartenskliniek since October 2023, also managing interim management and consultancy in healthcare since December 2020. Van den Heuvel is a member of the Supervisory Board at Raad voor Accreditatie and has held various executive roles such as Interim Member of the Executive Board CFO at Maasstad Ziekenhuis and CEO at Rode Kruis Ziekenhuis. An academic leader in healthcare management, van den Heuvel was a Professor at the University of Amsterdam Business School and directed the MBA Healthcare Management program. Educational qualifications include an MD from Leiden University, a PhD in Quality Management in Healthcare from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management.
