Marit Kristin Haugen

Marit Kristin Haugen is a Senior Research Scientist at SINTEF Community, specializing in concrete since January 2010, following a previous role as a Research Scientist in the Cement and Concrete division from September 1991 to December 2009. Prior to this, Haugen served as a Senior Engineer at The Norwegian Public Roads Administration and as a Scientist at The Geological Survey of Norway. Early career experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources Engineering, and a role as a Pleiemedhjelper at Trøndelag psykiatriske sykehus. Haugen possesses a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from NTNU and has completed coursework at the University of Trondheim, the University of Oslo, and the Goethe Institut in Oslo.
