John Caunter

John Caunter has over 25 years of experience in program and product management. John began their career in 1995 at L-3 Maritime Systems (Henschel) as a Senior Program Manager and Department Manager. In 2005, they moved to American Science and Engineering, Inc. as a Senior Program Manager and Product Manager. There, they were responsible for product line management, customer interface, product road map, product development, testing, release to manufacturing, and customer delivery. John also led cross functional teams, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk mitigation, design to cost, etc. for major development and sustaining engineering programs. In 2015, they joined BAE Systems as a Senior Program Manager and Product Line Manager. Currently, they are a Sr Program Manager and Product Line Manager at SIONYX, where they manage the product line of digital night vision sensors, cameras, weapon sights, monoculars, and goggles for commercial, DoD, and international customers. John also supports major DoD and IRAD programs.

John Caunter attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where they obtained a BS in Engineering with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, and Marine Engineering. John then attended American Graduate School of Management and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, but did not pursue any additional degrees.
