James Long

James Long is an experienced professional in the brewing and distilling industry, currently serving as the Engineering and Health + Safety Manager at Sipsmith since September 2018. Previously, James held positions at Sipsmith that included Distiller - Maintenance Co-ordinator and Assistant Distiller. Prior to this, James worked as a Student Ambassador at Heriot-Watt University, where responsibilities included showcasing university halls during open days. James also gained customer service experience at Greene King, where duties involved running open mic and rock'n'roll bingo nights, as well as addressing customer complaints. James holds an MSc in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
