Alpana Sharma has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Alpana has held various roles in different companies, starting as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in 1998. Alpana then worked at Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts as an Executive Housekeeper before moving to Sonesta Cairo Hotel as an Executive Housekeeper responsible for the opening of a new tower. Alpana also worked as a Consultant at CHA-INTERNATIONAL and as an Executive Housekeeper at Danat Hotels & Resorts. Alpana joined Reliance Foundation Hospital in 2012 as a General Manager of Operations-Housekeeping and is currently working as the Chief of Service Excellence & Patient Experience at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre. Alpana has a strong background in managing housekeeping departments, overseeing renovation projects, recruitment, and training, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Alpana Sharma has a diverse education history. Alpana obtained a PG Diploma in Business Administration specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies in 2015.
