Marco Bencini has over 16 years of experience in the industrial sector, currently serving as Managing Director at SIR INDUSTRIALE S.P.A. since December 2007, where previous roles included Site Manager, Site Production Manager, Production Manager, and Production Manager Assistant. Prior to this, Marco Bencini contributed to research on bioactive and biocompatible polymers for Drug-Delivery at Università degli Studi di Milano from February 2006 to December 2007, following the completion of a doctorate focusing on functionalized poly(1-vinyl-pyrrolidin-2-one) oligomers. Marco Bencini earned a Laurea and Doctorate in Industrial Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Milano between 1996 and 2002.
