Akram Feroz Syed

Akram Feroz Syed has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network engineering. Akram Feroz currently holds the position of Chief Specialist Cybersecurity at Sirar by STC since March 2021. Previously, they worked at STC where they served as a Subject Matter Expert and Senior Cyber Security Engineer from December 2019 onwards. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Cyber Security Engineer in the same company from December 2017 to November 2019. Akram also worked at Solutions by STC as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer in the Professional Services Security department from December 2017 to February 2021. Before joining STC, they worked as a Network Security Engineer at Optimized Networks Middle East from January 2017 to December 2017. Akram's earlier experience includes a role as a Systems Engineer in network security at BTC Networks from February 2013 to January 2017, and as a Network Engineer at Datacipher from August 2010 to November 2012.

Akram Feroz Syed completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various certifications related to information security and networking from institutions such as ISACA, CompTIA, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, Inc., Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco, between the years 2015 and 2022.
