Bagus Brahmantya Prasetya Gautama's work experience includes roles at SIRCLO, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero), and PT PLN (Persero). Bagus is currently employed as an Associate Software Engineer at SIRCLO since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Superintendent at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) from December 2012 to February 2022. In this role, they successfully led the maintenance work of electrical apparatus at the Asahan II Hydroelectric Power Plant, reducing downtime and improving turbine-generator efficiency. Additionally, they worked as an Intern at PT PLN (Persero) in August 2011, where they studied the design and installation of grounding systems to improve safety in a 500kV substation extension project at Gandul, Cinere.

Bagus Brahmantya Prasetya Gautama has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), which they obtained from 2007 to 2012.
