François Vromman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. François is currently the Vice President and Head of Global Sales at SIRION BIOTECH GmbH since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director and Head of Business Operations for Southern & Western Europe at the same company from August 2020 to March 2023. From August 2018 to August 2020, they held the position of Sales and Business Development Director for France, Benelux, and Italy.
In addition to their role at SIRION BIOTECH GmbH, François Vromman has also been involved in various other ventures. François serves as a Private Investor and Business Angel at Cearitis, a company offering innovative solutions for protecting crops against pests through biocontrol and biological tools, since May 2022. François is also an Investor and Engaged Associate of the Cause at Time for the Planet, and a Private Investor and Business Angel at INGA since April and March 2022, respectively.
Furthermore, François Vromman has been a Private Investor and Business Angel at GOURMEY, a company developing slaughter- and force-feeding-free Foie Gras, since September 2020. François has also invested in Lounjee, a company they joined as a Private Investor and Business Angel in April 2020.
Prior to their entrepreneurial pursuits, François Vromman worked as a Freelance Consultant in Life Science Innovation and Business Studies starting from May 2015. François also served as a Business Development Consultant at Novoptim, a European business consulting firm supporting innovative life science and healthcare companies, from November 2015 to July 2018.
François Vromman started their career at the Institut Pasteur, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2014 to September 2014. François also worked as a PhD Student and Junior Project Manager, focusing on the functional study of Chlamydia proteins secreted during infection, from September 2010 to June 2014. Additionally, they held the role of President at StaPa, an association of young researchers at the Institut Pasteur, from October 2011 to September 2012.
François Vromman began their education with a Bachelor's degree in Life Science from Université de Metz in 2008. François then pursued a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2008 to 2010. In 2009, they attended Institut Pasteur for a General Microbiology course. François completed their education at Pierre and Marie Curie University with a PhD in Cell Microbiology, specializing in Molecular and Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Host-Pathogen Interaction from 2010 to 2014. Finally, in 2014, they obtained a Business Foundation Certificate from INSEAD, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
